JIT Manufacturing requires quick response to logistic choke points. That was the problem for an auto parts manufacturer. A railcar containing the urgently needed shipping racks were in a damaged rail car that could not travel over the rails.

 ReRailAmerica was called to move the empty auto parts shipping racks from the damaged car to a waiting railcar that could be dispatched immediately. Our quick solution was to respond with a crew of three members , after the safety meeting, we  lifted a propane powered fork truck into the stricken box car to move the racks to the door. We then used the larger fork lift to carry the racks to the waiting railcar. Not glamorous… but safe, efficient and quick. Problem solved
